Yoga for Cyclists and Runners
For many cyclists and runners who like to get out for rides and runs after work, November is a rough time. The clocks change, and suddenly, there is not enough daylight each weekday evening.
To help our local cyclists and runners stay active and healthy, we’re offering three Yoga for Cyclists & Runners classes on most Mondays in November from 7:15 to 8:30 pm. Come to any single class or all of the following. Drop in or use your regular class pass:
- Monday, November 4
- Monday, November 11
- Monday, November 25
These classes will incorporate yoga postures for increasing flexibility in the hips and legs, developing core strength, taking care of the low back and tending to the often neglected upper body. It will be taught by 11-time national cycling champion and former U.S. cycling national team member Sue George, also the owner of Shenandoah Yoga.
